green glue between acrylic glass and laminated glass

I have had to remove silicon before now and a razor blade flat on the glass is effective, albeit with a need to be careful that you don't cut yourself. +1. Of course I can't find mine at the moment (I'd post a pic, otherwise), but there is a gadget (a handle, really) that holds the razor blade flat...

Private studio in Slovakia

Greetings Starlight,

As always, thanks for the update and pictures. Certainly looks good!

I need to plan precisely where hooks will drop from the ceiling to hold it up

A laser level here, I assume. Seems like a rather fussy bit of measuring.

All the best,

Paul

Unfortunately, this seems to be a recurring problem for you at the moment. :(

I hope your fix is moving along.

Greetings Gareth, Sounds like you've begun to get a handle on the terrible situation. I dropped my second hand ryobi cordless staple gun in the mud Ryobi tools are really hit-and-miss. My jigsaw works fine, but my brad nailer has been able to fire exactly zero nails. I'm glad I didn't have too much ...

My wife yelled at me for wasting so much time stacking the tubes of green glue.

When I stack mine, I think I'll be in the clear since I'm building my wife's studio first. ;)

Greetings Jag94,

What a beautiful job! Thanks for all the photos! The one of the Green Glue tubes is wonderful simply on an aesthetic level.

Now I HOPE you're making the new baby's furniture...

Small control room design mk2

Greetings Gareth,

Looks nice. Yes, 10 cm of insulation would make for a pretty dead space!

My only question: if clients are standing on the riser, will they feel claustrophobic due to the low ceiling?

All the best,

Paul

Greetings Starlight,

Thanks for the update and pictures. Nice to be able to make some music in the space even before it's finished. :D

Following your example in the photo, I might use chicken wire as a diffuser myself. ;)

All the best,

Paul

Understood. Thanks for the clarification.

mlv or green glue

It's amazing that in this case, Green Glue is the less expensive solution. That never happens...

Greetings jag94,

Perhaps I missed this, but is the door an interior-only door? If it is, then MDF should work fine. If it exposed to the outside, you shouldn't put MDF on that side of the door as it doesn't play nice with moisture.

All the best,

Paul

Greetings Gareth, Unfortunately due to the pandemic my door and window have a long lead time I hear ya. We are working on my wife's art studio, and the while the doors are within a normal range the windows are FIVE weeks out! On the upside, the money stays in our bank account longer... All the best,...

I am following Gareth's build and I did see the question but I did not reply as I don't know the current legal requirements.

Understood.

wine or chocolate

Why not both? Many Reds and chocolate are great together!
