I recently designed a fully Dolby Certified Atmos studio in which we did something very similar - the pre-existing building had some roof trusses with bottom chords that were in the way, so we built a "square wave" type ceiling - partially inside out, partially not, with the existing truss...

I downloaded your latest mdat and had a quick look - maybe it's just my inadequacy but I am not seeing a major improvement in the low end from before you did the alterations - can you point out what exactly has improved in the measurements?

You could install a trap similar to what you have on your rear wall in your control room across one wall, then do some soffit traps all the way around the top of the walls/ceiling - this way you don't use floor space but have some nice broad control down to 100hz or so (depending on depth of traps) ...

Do you think the noise is from the fan(s)? If so, if it was me I would try putting an inline silencer after the fan(s).

looks cool! I can imagine it getting quite trippy in that room if under the influence of certain substances...

What are the wall mounted panels? Just absorption?

If you make the video "unlisted" then we can see it, but if you make it private then only you can see it or those youtube accounts that you invite to see it. Basically, if you make it unlisted and provide the link then we can see it.
