The Schroeder frequency has nothing to do with diffusion. It is the frequency where modes are so close that they overlap such that one half bandwidth of modes is less than the spacing between the modes See the appendix in RD 1992-8.

So a question: Symphony Hall in Boston (home of the BSO) is well-known for not having ANY bad seats (sound-wise speaking; its true, I've been to many concerts there).
