Hello,

A few years ago I picked up some cubicle partitions for next to nothing and thought about rolling them up to use in my studio. Link to the design thread here: https://www.digistar.cl/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1229. I know they're not designed for use in a recording studio (in terms of absorbed frequencies) but I thought they could still be useful. For example, to isolate a drum or make a sort of vocal booth. I have 4 of them. I did a pilot project today :) . They are 59 inches wide and 7 feet high (total height):

As you can see, there is a 4½ inches gap below the panel (so the sound will go through there...).
I could also attach reflective material to one side so the panel could be used for 2 purposes.

What do you think?
Are they worth keeping or should I get rid of them?
Do you have any other ideas for putting them on wheels?

Thanks
Stef

you can add a sheet of plywood onto one side to provide both density, and a reflective surface if desired.
