Hello,
I am in the process of designing my studio. (Design thread here: https://www.digistar.cl/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1229). I currently have an Alesis RA-100 amp and Alesis Monitor One speakers but to date I have only used them in small rooms. My studio will be approximately 22' x 26' with a 10' ceiling. My intention is to start with this kit and if I ever run out of power I can upgrade. Here is the specs:
That said, I would have an opportunity to buy a pair of used Behringer Truth B2031A in excellent condition at a good price, and I have read positive reviews. Here are the specs:
In theory, I should get more bass with the Behringers, and that might be a good thing since I don't have a sub. But is it really worth it? Should I jump on this deal?
Note: My speakers will not be flush mounted.
Thanks!
Stef

Behringer Truth B2031A
Thanks Glenn. In the end, I bought them.
I plan to place them on either side of my desk, which is 6 feet wide. Behringer says they are near-field monitors. If the sides of the triangle measure 7 feet, will that be okay?
