Hey Glenn,

Thanks for the tip. looks like it could be available in the UK, but haven't investigated too much yet. My initial idea was to use timber for all the window framing and then use a uPVC cap bonded over it for protection, a somewhat similar approach to what you described.

Looking fantastic and very exciting!

Are the hanging panels hanging or chains or actually fixed rigidly into place with timber cleats?

(Also, if you get a moment, please could take a look at my question for you in my earlier reply about what you used for your exterior windows frames?)

Thanks!

Paul

They are fixed semi-rigid with timber...

I believe the exterior windows are all gray aluminium frames. The outer glass is tinted (as we get strong sun here in Portugal) and the inner glass is laminated.

Thanks!

Sure... More pictures soon. They have another 10 day break so nothing more will happen for a bit.

Well, Joules did not work at all this last week and has informed me they are not coming this coming week either. A bit frustrating as we are nearly half way there and this could soon be done. Anyway, the linoleum floor for the live room is supposed to arrive on Tuesday. Doors for the control room and live room should come the week after. The HVAC people were to install the first week in March but since Joules has not worked all last week or this coming week, there is no ventilation materials put in by Joules yet. Also the door frames have not been adjusted as they were supposed to. Just have to be patient..

The fabric is up on the walls now.. Joules is working on cables for the lights and then he can do the ceiling next.
Acoustic doors and HVAC systems will probably be installed next week.

Joules returns tomorrow and I suspect they will put up the diffusers he has been building in his workshop in the live room, continue with the electrics and lights in the control room and put the fabric frames up on the ceiling. Will know more tomorrow.

Hum.. I thought you could see it even if it was private as long as you had the link??? I do not want to make it public as I have hundreds of followers on my youtube feed for my band... Maybe a link to a dropbox??? I should make another one as the control room is finished (cosmetically) and just needs the HVAC vents, heating/cooling unit and wiring put in. I hope to make some measurements first thing when Joules gets back on Tuesday.,

Got the mixing desk wood cut and stained and Joules will assemble it next week, I guess. They got all the HMDI, CAT6, electricity and audio cables prepared last week for the boxes on the walls in the live room. Joules hopes to finish in 8 working days. I still have no date for getting the floor in the live room though.... here are a couple of pictures..

Looks great

If you make the video "unlisted" then we can see it, but if you make it private then only you can see it or those youtube accounts that you invite to see it. Basically, if you make it unlisted and provide the link then we can see it.
