Are you copying me or did I copy you? Great minds think alike!
DaveRF wrote:Source of the postI'm considering making the centre panel hard backed but leaving the wings soft backed.
Is this ok or should it be all hard backed or all soft backed?
I would leave them all soft backed so as to make use of the full height of the room.

I'm going with great minds think alike ! :D
(Either that or we're both buying our fabric from the same supplier)

But I'm definitely copying the holes on the edge of your cloud idea. May as well maximise the use of the insulation.
Thanks for the reply re hard/soft back.

I concur. Unless you are tilting the cloud at an angle for the purpose of reflecting low and low mid frequency ceiling bounces away from the mix position, I don't see any point in a hard back.

Cheers!

Thanks for your comments Jennifer. Much appreciated.
The woodwork on the cloud is finished and is ready to be covered in fabric and 'stuffed'.

Just want to say your attic studio thread has been both an education and an inspiration.
Thank you for taking the time to document your progress.
