Has anybody heard of Rotofast standard acoustical panel hangers? It's been a looooong time since I have finished my studio in 2021 and haven't been online here much since. We just did a $250,000 upgrade on our church auditorium in Salem, Oregon and the acoustic engineer that designed it uses these. I wish I would have had them when I built my studio (see "Salem Oregon Conference Center Studio"). I just HAD to share it you you all since that's the idea of the forum - to share things that are a help.
I encourage you to search on "Rotofast". It's the "standard" connectors that worked so well. There's video demos there.
Best Regards,

Rotofast hangers for fiberglass acoustic panels
thanks for the lead.Guit-picker wrote:Source of the post Rotofast standard acoustical panel hanger
basically if you have an open back 703 (or equiv semi-rigid insulation) based absorber, then the standard model basically cuts into the absorbing material. then again, light weight panels could readily be hung with insulation hooks or even just regular nails where you press the panel onto a mostly seated nail. probably faster and less costly.
