What a coincidence I have been studying post #7 these past few days, along with Myth: Modes and room ratios: "I have too many modes! I need a better ratio to get rid of them" Now we also have Modes, room ratios, and the "Schroeder Frequency" or "Transition Frequency", Stuart is either writing faster than I can study or I will have to work less to have more study time!

Here's what happened after the last batch of photos:

After trying my hand at woodworking, I decided to hire a professional carpenter through a somewhat lengthy selection process. The guy arrived with a few tools and stated building the first structure as if he were in a rush, without properly planing and dimensioning the wood. All in all, the job ended being quite sloppy and messy. Then the dude decides to blame the "low quality wood" and proceeds to try and convince me to buy plywood to redo the whole thing based on his design. I didn't know better and agreed.
We tried to get our hands on said materials but the shortage prevented us. Then, the guy ghosted me.

I then had to learn wood framing and find someone who could lend me a table saw (we burnt the motor on ours when an accidental slip put the board in an angle to the saw, forcing it to spin out of place and exert extreme force on the motor), and a jointer.

And I'm glad I did that. The work looks 1000% better than the "professional" carpenter.

So far, I'm finishing both corners with the big hangers and their corresponding baffles and cloth-grill panels. I have no photos of the panels, but I will mount them last to prevent dust and particles getting into them during the construcion process

Looking good! Are they your soffit walls or part of the rear treatment?

Thanks for replying!

They're part of the soffit cabinets. They're what I call the "mid" section, where the speakers go. I will be placing hangers above and below the speaker :D
