I’m trying to decide what insulation to use for this poly diffuser. I seems like it would be an estimated 8-10” deep.
I would think regular low to medium density insulation is what would be needed. Is this correct or should I use a rigid fiberglass stacked?

you could use the light stuff. i'd pack it a bit to ensure even pressure on the panel to damp it.

Hi Glenn,

Do you know what the measurement would be between the 2x4 edge clamps in this design of yours for my vaulted ceiling? I experimented and calculated that if I made them 46.5” apart it would be correct. Does that seem right for a 4’ wide piece of plywood?
